Quo and CallRail
Connect a phone provider you already use, and what a Quo call becomes.
Local Wrangler tracks calls with its own numbers: get them under Tracking, Call Tracking, described on Call tracking. If you already use another phone provider, the Phone Tracking category on Settings, Integrations offers CallRail and Quo.
Quo
In Quo: Settings > API (owner or admin), click Generate API key, then paste it here. Your calls connect automatically.
When you click Connect, the key is checked with Quo, and Local Wrangler asks Quo to notify it of a completed call, its recording and its transcript. The card then shows the Active pill and, once the first call has arrived, the line Connected by your team. It has no Events button.
Each completed inbound call becomes a call lead with the caller's number, the source Phone, and a Details line naming the call's outcome, its length and the number it reached. An answered call is a new lead and sends the new-lead alert. A missed call is marked Not qualified and sends the missed-call alert instead, so someone calls back. The recording and the transcript attach to the lead when Quo sends them. A call carries no website visit, so it appears under the Phone channel on Analytics.
Disconnecting Quo: Future deliveries from Quo will be rejected until you reconnect, and the event history on this card will be cleared. Local Wrangler also asks Quo to remove the subscriptions it created in your account. The calls already recorded stay on Leads.
CallRail
Click Connect on the CallRailcard, then Connect again in the window that opens. The confirmation shows one Webhook URL. Your credential is inside that address, so it is shown once and is not kept on the card: copy it before you close the window. The window's own words: In CallRail: Settings > Integrations > Webhooks, add a webhook and paste this URL into the URL field for the call events you want (for example Call Completed). CallRail sends no extra headers, so the whole credential is inside this URL: copy it now, because it is not shown again.
In CallRail, open Settings, then Integrations, then Webhooks, add a webhook and paste the URL into its URL field for the call events you want, such as Call Completed. There is nothing else to set: CallRail sends no headers, which is why the credential travels in the address. If you lose the URL, click Rotate secret on the card: you get a new URL to paste into CallRail, and the old one stops working straight away.
Each inbound call CallRailreports becomes a call lead with the caller's number, the source CallRailattached to the call or Phone when it sent none, and a Details line naming the call's outcome, its length and the number it reached. An answered call is a new lead and sends the new-lead alert. A missed call is marked Not qualified and sends the missed-call alert instead, every time, even from someone who called before. A call CallRail reports twice is recorded once.
The card reads Awaiting first event until the first call arrives, Active from then on, and Quiet when nothing has arrived for more than 7 days. Its Events button lists deliveries that were refused after the credential checked out, with the reason; a call that became a lead is not listed there. A delivery with a missing or wrong credential is refused before anything is recorded. Future deliveries from CallRail will be rejected until you reconnect, and the event history on this card will be cleared.
