Onboarding

Your name, your company, and what work you take on.

Everything in Local Wrangler belongs to a company, not to a single user. Your company is the container for your leads, domains, integrations, and team. One login can belong to several companies, and you switch between them from the Companies menu at the top of the sidebar.

Onboarding asks three things:

  1. 1
Your name. This is how you appear to your team in Local Wrangler.
  2. 2
Your company name. This creates your workspace. If you already belong to a company, this step is skipped. If you were invited to one and have not joined yet, do not create a company here: follow the invitation link. If you had no account yet, it first asks you to set a password; either way it then shows the company's page with a Join button.
  3. 3
What work you take on, and where. This step is optional: skip it and fill it in later under Settings, Organization.

You then land on the Dashboard, or on Billing if you arrived from a pricing plan. Two things to do next: add your website under Tracking, then Tracking Script, and invite your team under Settings, Team. Owners and admins manage the team and the company's settings; every member sees everything the company has captured.
