Account
Your photo, name and password, and closing your account.
Settings, Account is about you, not your company: your photo, your name, your password, and closing your account. Company settings are on the other tabs.
Change your photo
Under Profile photo, click Upload and pick a square image. It appears beside your name in the sidebar and on your notes. Remove takes it away.
Change your name
Under Profile information, edit Full name and click Save. Your email is shown but cannot be changed here.
Change your password
Under Password, click Change password. You need your current password: type it first, then the new one twice, and click Update password. The new password must meet every rule shown as you type:
- At least 8 characters
- Lowercase letter (a-z)
- Uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Number (0-9)
- Symbol (!@#$...)
Never set a password?
Someone who joined from an invitation without choosing a password cannot use this form, because it asks for the current one. Sign out, open the login page, and use Forgot password: the email link lets you set a new password directly. Invitations now ask for a password before joining, so this applies only to people who joined before that.Delete your account
Under Danger zone, click Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and confirm. Your photo and your sign-in are removed and your name and email are cleared from the company's records. Leads, notes and history your company captured stay, because they belong to the company.
Deletion is refused while you still hold a company. The page tells you what stands in the way:
- You own a company. A company cannot be left without an owner, and moving one to another person is something we have to do for you. Send us a note from the Help / Feedback button in the sidebar, tell us what should happen to the company, and we will close your account once that is settled.
- You are still a member of a company with other people in it. Ask an owner or an admin to remove you under Settings, Team.
- You are the only member of a company. Send us a note from the Help / Feedback button in the sidebar and we will remove it for you.
