Live chat leads
Turn chat conversations into leads with the visit's source attached.
A live chat on your website becomes a lead the moment the conversation ends. Your chat widget sends Local Wrangler the conversation, and the tracking script tells us when a chat opened on your site, so the lead carries the visit's source, campaign and click identifiers, the same as a form.
Connect your widget under Integrations, in the Live Chat category. The card shows the webhook address to paste into your widget and asks for the secret it generates:
- Tawk.to: In Tawk.to: Admin > Webhooks > add a webhook pointing to the URL below, enable the Chat End and Chat Transcript events, then copy the secret Tawk generates and paste it here.
- Crisp: In Crisp: Settings > Web Hooks > add a hook pointing to the URL below, enable the message and session:set_closed events, then copy the signing secret and paste it here.
A chat lead carries the visitor's name and email as the widget knew them, their city and country, the source of their visit, the full transcript, and an AI summary of the conversation. Open it under Leads to read the transcript.
Tidio is not available yet. Its card under Live Chat reads Coming soon and has no Connect button.
